Officer Faulkner is a True Hero for life. He made the ultimate sacrifice and we all want True Justice in this case.

There is no counterpoint to the the Fact's in this case and He deserves to rest knowing that Maximum Justice is served. We will take care of his Angel's left behind.

Sincerely,
JJ Nyme NYPD 10-13 (Retired)

Three posts above I believe was from Rusty who I have responded on the IMC site and have not received a reply. ALL of my 9 comments on the "Journalists for Mumia" (Hans Bennet) site have been deleted within hours/minutes after posting which only shows contempt for the truthful facts. I even suggested the "latest pro Mumia" film be shown in and close to 13th and Locust insted of New York...but I'm sure the attendence will be VERY low

how come faulkners parter took 2 months to report the so-called confession he heard mumia say in the hospital?

And if Priscilla Durham actually told her boss about the "confession" the next day (as she testified in court), why didn't she say anything about that to the police when she made the first official statement 2 months after the shootings?

Seems pretty suspicious to me.

Here are some general facts about that "confession" (from freemumia.com):

The alleged “hospital confession,” where Abu-Jamal reportedly declared, “I shot the motherf***er and I hope the motherf***er dies,” was first officially reported to police over two months later, by hospital guards Priscilla Durham and James LeGrand (Feb. 9, 1982), P.O. Gary Wakshul (Feb.11), P.O. Gary Bell (Feb.25), and P.O. Thomas M. Bray (March 1). Only 2 of these five witnesses were called by the DA: Gary Bell (Faulkner's partner and “best friend”) and Priscilla Durham.

---Gary Bell testified that the 2 month lapse resulted from him being so upset over the death of Faulkner.

---Priscilla Durham testified, and added for the first time, that she had reported the confession to her supervisor the next day. Neither her supervisor, nor the alleged handwritten statement were presented in court. The DA sent an officer to the hospital, returning with a suspicious typed version. Sabo accepted the paper (not signed or dated) despite both Durham’s disavowal, and the defense’s protest that authorship and authenticity were unproven.

---Gary Wakshul was not a prosecution witness, and on the final day of testimony in 1982, Abu-Jamal's lawyer discovered Wakshul's statement from Dec. 9 (Abu-Jamal’s supporters cite this late discovery as one of many examples of incompetent representation--to which defense attorney Anthony Jackson testified about at the 1995 PCRA hearings). After riding with Abu-Jamal to the hospital and guarding him until his treatment, Wakshul reported: “the negro male made no comment.” When the defense immediately sought to call Wakshul as a witness, the DA reported that he was on vacation. On grounds that it was too late in the trial, Sabo denied the defense request to locate him for testimony. Subsequently, the jury never heard from Wakshul or about his written report. When an outraged Abu-Jamal protested, Sabo cruelly declared: “You and your attorney goofed.”

---At the 1995 PCRA Hearings, Wakshul testified that both his contradictory Dec. 9 “the negro male made no comment” report and the 2 month delay were simply bad mistakes. He repeated his earlier February 11, 1982 statement given to the police IAB investigator: “I didn’t realize it had any importance until that day.”

---Wakshul also testified to being home for his 1982 vacation—in accordance with explicit instructions to stay in town for the trial so that he could testify if called. After studying the alleged confession, Amnesty International concluded that: “The likelihood of two police officers and a security guard forgetting or neglecting to report the confession of a suspect in the killing of another police officer for more than two months strains credulity.”

Let's take "annon" statements one by one.

Durham did not "disavow" her statement. She stated she gave a hand written statement to her supervisor. Now if y'all think the typewritten statement was a fake, she would not have said the statement presented was correct.

Wakshul. You neglect to post his statements as to him closing up the Wagon and crying due to the FACT of what he heard Mumia shout. As to the "negro male made no comment" that was AFTER he was placed on a gurney in the ER and guarded by Wakshul. The shouted comment made by Mumia was as they entered the doors of the ER.

Gary Bell. I can understand Officer Bells/ Wakshuls grief and emotional confusion that morning as to not reporting the "Mumia statement" immediately for I experienced the same emotional confusion when MOVE murdered my friend and co-worker Officer Ramp.

Now here is somthing for YOU to answer.
Mumia was arrested 30 to 45 seconds after he killed Faulkner with his gun found close by with 5 empty rounds.
Billy Cook...he was not beaten bloody(witness accounts). He was within feet of Officer Faulkners body and shouted to Officer Forbes and Shoemaker "I ain't got nothing to do with this"..not my brother didn't do it. or Freeman did it or Beverly did it...nothing.

The ball is your court and in my opinion A.I. has no clue as to the real truth.

you say BS!!!! do you consider Mumia's and Billy Cooks affidavit B.S. when they were submitted over 20 YEARS after Mumia killed Officer Faulkner? You forgot the Security Guard who submitted her report the following day. I guess that was BS also..according to you.
Try again slick

kind of funny how my comments keep being deleted.

Nobody's comments have been deleted. I am the only one that can delete them and I haven't.

The only way that someone's comments get deleted are is if they are of a threatening nature or if they are clearly spamming the board.

Unlike the pro-Mumia and pro-MOVE webmasters I don't practice or condone censorship.

So much energy has been expended by both sides trying to argue extreme sides of the case. On one side, Jamal is totally innocent and was an innocent bystander fired upon by PO Faulkner. Or, Jamal did not fatally shoot PO-Faulkner.
Maybe he shot him initially in the back, but the passenger in Billy Cook’s vehicle then fired the fatal shot. Or, on the other side, Jamal exited his cab and fired all the shots with deadly intent . But at this point it is all irrelevant. After the 3rd Circuit ruling, Jamal will never be freed, nor will he ever be executed. He will outlive us all, and die a frail old man on a cot in the corner of the prison infirmary at Waynesburg.
That is hardly a satisfying ending for either side. Especially for two people like me and my wife living in Illinois - with Justice for PO Daniel Faulkner stickers on our bumpers.
The gratifying thing is people may ask about who “the cop is “ but not one person has ever mentioned “Jamal”. He is famous in Philly, but irrelevant the further you get from Philly.

The truth is Mumia will die on death row as an affirmed cop killer. The supporters of Mumia should face the facts and accept the truth he killed a cop. Start using your common sense and find a new cause to fight about. For starters you could ask yourselves how you could get dupe by a con to believe Mumia was really innocent.

i dont care ,faulkners partner shouldve reported it when he heard it. how many people on regular basis watch as a family memeber ,loved one, friends are murdered etc.. and they report it right then and there. thats just plain stupid. i feel sorry and pity for you so-called retired cops who have nothing better to do but sit on tony "informant" allen's blogspot and type little things to make there old retired selves worth anything. mumia is innocent!!!

Lets take the first half of your paragraph since you blame the Police. WHY didn't Billy Cook, Mumia's brother who witnessed it, state 'my brother did it",and reported what he saw OR somebody else did it" and ran while explaining Mumia's empty gun but insted Billy Cook stated "I ain't got nothing to do with this". Now please explain WHY Mumia is innocent according to you

Good grief. That has to be some of the most atrocious spelling, punctuation and syntax I have ever seen. What school district did you get your HS diploma from?
